Great News Members!!! Even though we sufferred damage to our Ramona Canyon RV Resort in the October California wildfires, I am pleased to announce that the resort will open on December 15, 2007. This amazing recovery is the direct result of the efforts of the resort manager, Bob Tessier and his wife Cathy. Our insurance carrier, The Travelers, has been teriffic and has been instrumental in our ability to get the resort open in such a timely fashion. Kino Bay Mail The mail room at Casa Grande will again hold mail for Kino Bay members during November, December, January and February. If you wish to receive mail while at Kino Bay, address it with your name c/o Western Horizons Casa Grande RV Resort, 195 W. Rodeo Rd., Casa Grande, AZ 85222. AND clearly marked ‘Kino Bay’ in the bottom left corner of the package or envelope. That is the only way the Casa Grande mail room staff is able to separate it from their own mail. If you are passing through Casa Grande, St. David or Valley Vista in Benson on your way to Kino, please stop at the resort and pick up any Kino Bay mail for us. To add Kino Bay to your membership, More Kino Bay Information WHR’s Traveling Tradesmen Volunteer ProgramWHR is looking for members who are licensed or certified electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc., who would be interested in joining a crew to work on WHR resort construction projects. This would involve traveling to various resorts and staying for extended periods while working on ‘Special Projects.’ Take part in one project or multiple projects. When one project is complete then you could move onto the next resort and the next project. If you are interested please send an informal resume (See below.) Incentives: Benefits: WHR’s Work Camper ProgramWHR’s Worker Camper program is very popular with our members. If you are interested in getting involved as a Worker Camper please send us an informal resume (see below.) Jobs include: gate host, office, lawn care, activities, cooks and light maintenance.
